Marsha is no stranger to the insurance industry, having spent more than 25 years in the property and casualty side of the business. She received her CPCU designation in 1980, and served as that organization’s international president in 1999-2000. and has worked with Aetna Life and Casualty, CNA Insurance, and Encompass Insurance, a division of Allstate. She is licensed in the State of Connecticut and Massachusetts.
She and her husband Bob have taken over DeLong Associates, and are excited about continuing her sister Nancy’s business legacy in the banking insurance products field.
Marsha’s business career is broad based. She was named one of Pennsylvania’ s 50 Best Women in Business, is a board certified life and executive coach, and is an internationally recognized productivity expert, having appeared in numerous media outlets including ABC World News, CNN, Canada AM, on the front page of USA Today and many others.
Nancy started this nitch business in 1986, after completing her MBA at the University of Connecticut. She grew it at a rapid pace, and enjoyed traveling the state of Connecticut serving her banking clients. She was known for her fabulous Christmas cookies.
An avid Duke alumnus, she enjoyed challenging her client/friends about the Duke/ U Conn rivalry. She raised her two daughters in Glastonbury, and became quite an accomplished water colorist. Many of her paintings are featured throughout this site.
Sadly, Nancy lost a hard fought battle with breast cancer in 2018. She leaves a legacy of laughter and service that won't be forgotten.
